Les Dames Blanches is an enchanting documentary in which Flemish filmmaker Camille Ghekiere shows her unique talent for moving and human stories. She follows the young man Simeon, whose family emigrated from the Dominican Republic to Belgium during his internship in nursing home De Liberteyt. With an immersive mix of humour, pathos, music and dance, Ghekiere captures how shy meetings transform into deep friendships, while she brings big life questions to life with playful imagination and emotion.
